Cockpit - (Forward Fuselage section)

Also went pretty smooth....( a exceptiom - see below)

Sidewalls....

the Seat Support angle turn later out to be roughly 5 mm off (but acc. to plan they were at the right location) I had to make the holes into a slot to move them in the right spot....( I dont count that as a mistake on my part)
Seat formers with the rear cross tie
clecoed together ....hey it looks like an airplane...almost ... sort of....

first time out in the open....

time to move the work benches around and work upside down...
TX to my wife, we managed to flip it by ouselfs....love ya
...found out that the aft lower skin is about 2mm to far aft - oh well...too late to change it

put the engine mount there to confirm it will fit and make a picture which shows "progress"...
did already fit the glareshield and panel !!! So far I think that was one of the best ideas - dont want to do it when the fuselage is already rivetet - looked like the rivets to hold the glareshield in place would be painful to drill/updrill &deburr; At my stage I still can take everthing apart and deburr comfortably.
my home made fluting Pliers for 6.9 Bucks from Harbour freight did just fine to bend the angle between glare and instrument panel
took everthing apart again for deburring and while I still have room I did the ruddervators....
...24 APR2017

 ....imagine that Y-Tail....awesome

...my new temorary cloth rack...thats how I can sell it to my wife having it in the bedroom....

Time to uprivet the Fuselage and bring it in the upright position...

Engine mount bolts are too short on top and the lower one's are too long - ....disapointing....
