Fuselage aft section

Started on 09.032017

However I had already a couple parts done as I was waiting on the Hardware kit....

When I Cleco the first parts together it always feels like moving fast forward until I have to take it apart again an deburr all the holes for riveting.

So far so good ... nothing crazy to report on that building  report.
 - may be I should have the rear shoulder harness attachment not riveted like the plans call out - rather have it riveted once it was fitted to the tail cone box. That would have made deburring easier and better
- And the rivets to attach the rudder hinge dont have enough room back there so I had to drill a bit into the tail beam post to make the rivets fit - realised on the second rivet - so 2 rivets got drilled out again

Working hours so far ~330 hours+ (in 4 month = way ahead of the timeline)

And now on to fitting the turtle deck..... by the way the garage gets pretty tiny and my wife still complains about her car not beeing in the garage 😅.
